The chill in the air means apple season is here! We have no shortage of pick your own orchards in the driftless region, a bounty not to be overlooked.

After a day of raking leaves or putting the garden to bed for the winter, nothing takes the chill off like hot apple cider. The only thing better? Maple Apple Cider.

Heat the syrup, then, once it is off the heat, add a teaspoon of Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Mixer Simple Syrup. If you added a wee bit of Bourbon too I wouldn't blame you.
